The New Caledonia - Vanuatu Cooperation Fund

This fund provided yearly with a 20 million XPF envelop co-finances projects undertaken as a part of the Cooperation Agreement with Vanuatu.

Six cooperation areas are eligible:

  • sustainable economic development including agriculture,
  • education, « la Francophonie », training, youth professional integration,
  • research and technology transfer,
  • youth and culture
  • health,
  • good governance.

Since 2016, and at Vanuatu’s request, the main sectors benefiting from this fund are Education, Higher Education, and « la Francophonie ».
