Other EU Funding

The Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) have access to European programs and to certain components of the new external assistance instrument (NDICI).

 

It is Article 85 of the OADG that describes the eligibility of the OCTs for EU programs.
In addition to the OADG instrument, New Caledonia is eligible for

  •  "thematic" and "rapid response actions" components of the NDICI instrument (main external financial assistance tool);
  • EU humanitarian aid instruments;
  •  EU programs, in particular: Connecting Europe (transport), Creative Europe (culture/media), Erasmus + (education/training/youth/sport), Digital Europe, European Social Fund + (employment and social innovation), EU4Health, European Solidarity Fund (mobility/solidarity), Horizon Europe (research and technological development), Citizenship, Equality, Rights and Values, Justice Program, LIFE (environment, climate change, including Overseas Territories), Invest EU (investment)
