European Year For Development
11 June 2015
The European Year for Development (EYD) is the first ever European Year that focuses on the European Union’s external actions and Europe’s role in the world. From January to December 2015, actions will be taken in three main areas: young people as development actors; Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) as key development actors and beneficiaries; and climate change which will be one of the common themes of the EYD for the entire year.
A web-documentary about OCTs will be made in 2015 with support from France.
A call for proposals – Global Citizenship and International Solidarity Education – for civil society has been published.
