Under the presidency of New Caledonia, a ministerial conference of the European Union's Overseas Countries and Territories Association (OCTA) took place virtually on June 24. On the agenda was the establishment of a new framework for cooperation with  British territories following their withdrawal from the OCTA.

Le Projet Régional Océanien des Territoires pour la Gestion durable des Écosystèmes (PROTEGE) a été mis à l’honneur lors de la Journée de l’Europe relayée le 10 mai en Nouvelle-Calédonie. Une semaine auparavant, le troisième comité de coordination territorial a permis de constater la bonne mise en œuvre du programme financé par l’Union européenne.

The Oceanian Regional Project of Territories for the Sustainable Management of Ecosystems (PROTEGE) was showcased during  Europe Day, relayed in New Caledonia on May 10. A week before, the third territorial coordination committee noted the good implementation of the program funded by the European Union.

La Nouvelle-Calédonie était à l’honneur lors de la conférence de presse hybride « New-Caledonia Energy and Mining Update » organisée par la chambre de commerce franco-australienne (FACCI). L’évènement a rassemblé plus d’une soixantaine de participants, dont une majorité d’entrepreneurs australiens, le mercredi 28 avril à Brisbane.

La Nouvelle-Calédonie est éligible à l’Initiative Kiwa, mise en œuvre par l’Agence française de développement (AFD). Un nouvel appel à idées a été lancé pour financer et accompagner des projets régionaux en lien avec l’adaptation au changement climatique et la protection de la biodiversité.

New Caledonia was in the spotlight at the "New-Caledonia Energy and Mining Update" hybrid press conference organized by the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce (FACCI). The event gathered more than 60 participants, including a majority of Australian entrepreneurs, on Wednesday April 28 in Brisbane.

New Caledonia is eligible for the Kiwa Initiative, implemented by the French Development Agency (AFD). A new call for ideas has been launched to finance and support regional projects related to climate change adaptation and biodiversity protection. Applications can be submitted on the Kiwa Initiative website until September 15, 2021. 

Plusieurs représentants des autorités coutumières de Wallis-et-Futuna se sont rendus au Médipôle, mardi 27 avril, pour se faire vacciner. Une démarche volontaire de la part de la communauté wallisienne et futunienne qui souhaite ainsi s’associer à la stratégie vaccinale du gouvernement.
